SMS messaging allows you to send the following messages via the Wisely platform.
Plain text Message
Standard messages comprise simple text and are attributed to your sender ID. This means that no branding and very minimal personalization are applied, but you do not need to go through any additional verification or enablement processes to use standard SMS. The plain text messages which are compliant with GSM protocols can be sent to the end users. The Non-GSM characters are replaced with “Null” while sending a text message.
Binary Message
Binary SMS is a type of SMS message where the content is encoded in binary format. This allows transmitting non-text data, such as multimedia, ringtones, and configuration settings. The maximum length of binary SMS is 140 octets which can be delivered via Wisely.
Flash Message
A Flash Message is a type of SMS (Short Message Service) displayed directly on the recipient’s mobile screen without requiring them to open the message. Unlike regular SMS messages stored in the phone's inbox, flash messages appear immediately and are typically not saved unless the user manually chooses to save them.
Port-based Message
Port-based messaging refers to the process of sending SMS messages to a specific port number on the recipient’s mobile device or application, allowing for the routing of the message to an application or service running on that device.
