Blocklist$
Blocklist refers to a list of contacts or contact numbers that are blocked from sending a campaign message from an enterprise using the Campaign Manager platform. This prevents unwanted communications from reaching the recipients and allows only useful communications from channels including SMS, WhatsApp, Truecaller, and RCS.
The key features of Blocklist are:
-
Targets preferred channels.
-
Prevents legal disputes.
-
Lowers costs by ensuring deliverability.
How a Blocklist works$
Blocklisting a contact number or multiple numbers prevents sending campaign messages to enterprise users until they are unblocked by the enterprise within the Campaign Manager platform.
Campaign Manager allows selective blocking means you can block a contact number only for a preferred channel and a specific endpoint, let’s say SMS. This feature allows enterprises to streamline the campaign messages via selective channels. You can block a single contact number or multiple contact numbers by uploading a file in .csv format. You may unblock the blocked list or a single number to allow businesses to send campaigns through unblocked numbers.
