Create Baseline

You will need to choose Insights under the mode of base selection to use a baseline while creating the campaign. For more information, refer to Launch an SMS Campaign.

Step 1: Setting Up a Baseline$

To create a baseline for a campaign,

  1. Navigate to Baseline from the left menu bar.
    A baseline page opens.

  2. Click Create at the top right corner.
    The Create baseline page opens.

  3. In the Baseline Name field, enter a name for your baseline.

  4. Under Goal, you need to:

    a. Select a Product that you want to use as a baseline from the drop-down menu. These menu items are default ones (available in the system).

    b. Select a Channel that you want to use for creating a campaign from the drop-down menu.

  5. Under Select method, choose your desired option from the following.

    1. Upload and Run Campaign – allows you to choose the target audience file from the local desktop and upload it to the Campaign manager.

    2. Upload stats from previous Campaign – allows you to choose the metrics such as clicks, conversions and mobile numbers of users which are included in a file. You don’t need to create content and follow further steps involved in Upload and Run Campaign if you choose this option.

    Upload and Run Campaign$

    You will need to add the content including approved templates from the respective channels such as SMS, Truecaller, and RCS to run or schedule a campaign in addition to setting up a baseline.

    1. Upload Type: These types include,

      • Mobile Numbers: only mobile numbers are added.
      • Numbers and Content: In addition to mobile numbers, message content is also uploaded.
      • Numbers and Variables: In addition to numbers, you can add additional columns to include message content in the file to make it a personalized choice.
    2. Click Browse File and select a file from the local drive. Accepted formats are XLSX, XLS, CSV, and Text.

    3. Click Open.
      Your file will be uploaded.
    4. (Optional) Toggle on the Exclusion list: This enables you to select the list of numbers that you want to exclude from receiving the campaign messages. You can select the files that were added in the previous campaigns.
  6. Click Save and Next.

Baseline Status$

Each baseline is assigned a specific status, and these statuses are listed as follows.

Status Description
Available Denotes the baseline can be set as a baseline for a campaign
Current Denotes the baseline used for a campaign recently
Cancelled The baseline has been set for a campaign, but it stopped intermittently
In progress Set as a baseline for a campaign and currently running
Previous Previously set as a baseline for a campaign and now it is available for a new one
