Viewing and Managing Partners

Wisely provides enterprises not only to manage the channel and apps permissions of a partner but also revoke access to a specific channel.

Managing Channel Permissions$

To manage the channel permissions,

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Click the Permissions tab.
    A list of channel and app permissions page appears where you can revoke access to a specific channel, and change the sender and template permissions.

Changing Sender Permissions$

To change sender permissions,

  1. Under sender column in the Channel Permissions page, select the permissions box.

  2. Choose between:

    • Use Only: Can only use what’s assigned.

    • Use and Manage: Can create/edit/delete new sender IDs. Partner can only use but can not manage the sender IDs created by the enterprise.

  3. When you choose Use Only, the Update permissions window opens.

  4. Select the agents from the dropdown menu. These agents appear as per the message type and telecom operator.

  5. Click Update.
    Your new permission will be updated for that specific channel.

Changing Template Permissions$

To change template permissions,

  1. Under template column in the Channel Permissions page, select the permissions box.

  2. Choose between:

    • Use Only: Can only use what’s assigned.

    • Use and Manage: Can create and manage new template categories. Partner can only use but can not manage the template categories created by the enterprise.

  3. When you choose Use Only, the Update permissions window opens.

  4. Select the one or more template categories from the dropdown menu.

    • OTP
    • Promotional
    • Transactional
  5. Click Assign.
    Your new permission will be updated for that specific channel.

Revoking Access to a channel$

To revoke a channel access,

  1. Under Actions column, select Revoke Access next to your desired channel.
    A dialog box opens.

  2. Select Confirm.
    Your selected channel access will be revoked for the partner.

Managing App Permissions$

To manage the app permissions,

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Click the Permissions tab.
    A list of channel and app permissions page appears where you can enable or revoke access to an app.

Enabling App Access$

  1. Under App Permissions, select Enable App next to the app that you would like to enable.
    A popup confirmation message opens.

  2. Click Confirm.
    The app will be enabled for the partner.

Revoking App Access$

  1. Under App Permissions, select Revoke Access next to the app that you would like to disable.
    A popup confirmation message opens.

  2. Click Confirm.
    The app will be disabled for the partner.

Managing Permitted Senders$

The enterprise can assign or remove the sender IDs of approved channels to or from a partner.

Assigning Sender IDs$

To assign sender IDs,

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Select the Permitted Senders tab.

  4. Select Assign Sender at the top right corner.
    The Update Permission Type window opens.

  5. Select the Channel from the dropdown list for which you want to assign.

  6. Select the Sender IDs from the dropdown list. These Sender IDs populate based on the channel you select.

  7. Select Assign.
    The sender IDs will be assigned to the selected channels of a partner. This method allows the partner to “Use Only” permission for sending messages.

Removing Sender IDs$

To remove sender IDs from the channels,

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Select the Permitted Senders tab.
    A list of senders appears.

  4. Search your desired sender ID and select the unlink (unlink) next to it under Actions column.
    A popup modal confirmation message opens.

  5. Select Update.
    The sender ID will be removed from the channel.

Managing Permitted Templates$

The enterprise can assign or remove multiple types of approved templates to or from a partner.

Assigning Templates$

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Select the Permitted Templates tab.

  4. Select Assign Template Category at the top right corner.
    The Update Permission Type window opens.

  5. Select the Channel from the dropdown for which you want to assign.

  6. Select one or more Template Category(ies) from the dropdown list. These templates appear only if they are approved. The templates are categorized as:

    • Marketing

    • Authentication

    • Utility

  7. Select Assign.
    The templates will be assigned to the selected channels of a partner. This method allows the partner to “Use Only” permission for sending messages.

Removing Templates$

To remove the templates from the channels,

  1. Navigate to the Partnership → Active Partners tab.
    A list of partners appears.

  2. Select View & Manage next to the partner that you want to manage.
    By default, the partner profile page opens.

  3. Select the Permitted Templates tab.
    A list of permitted templates appears.

  4. Search your desired template and select the unlink (unlink) next to it under Actions column.
    A popup modal confirmation message opens.

  5. Select Update.
    The template category will be removed from the channel.
