URLSH Analytics
The URLSH analytics page measures the performance of the shrotened URLs across channels and campaigns, the user engagement (by region, device, OS, and browser) helping you make informed decisions.
Accessing URLSH Analytics
To view the URLSH analytics page,

Navigate to Apps from the left menu bar.

Under My Apps, click the URL Shortener app.
By default, you will be navigated to the My Rules tab.Note
If the URL Shortener app is not available in the My Apps section, subscribe to the URL Shortener app.

Click the Analytics tab to navigate to the analytics page.
You can view the click analytics and details for all messages sent using the Wisely URL Shortener links. -
Click the Cohort Analytics tab to navigate to the cohort analytics page.

Traffic and click Analytics
Top Summary Metrics
Total traffic with URLs
The total number of times any URL in your campaigns has been accessed (clicked or opened).
Total traffic with shortened URLs
The number of clicks on URLs that were shortened (e.g., using a link shortener).
Useful for tracking whether short links drive more engagement.
Total Clicks
The sum of all clicks on campaign URLs — counts every click, even if from the same user.
Unique Clicks
Counts only one click per user, helping to measure unique engagement rather than repeated clicks.
Trend Analysis
Usually shows a line graph over time (daily or hourly) showing changes in total clicks or traffic trends.
Total clicks by Source
Breaks down clicks by where they came from — for example:
- Moengage
- API
- Clevertap
- Others
Total clicks by Channel
Total clicks segregated by channel across:
- SMS
- Truecaller
- RCS
Highest performing templates by total clicks
Identifies top 5 performing message templates with respect to total clicks generated within the selected date range.
Highest performing campaigns by total clicks
Identifies top 5 performing campaigns with respect to total clicks generated within the selected date range.
Total Clicks by URL Placement
The total clicks segregated by URL placement across:
- Message Body
- CTA Button
- Footer
Total Clicks – Daywise Analysis
Displays a day-by-day breakdown of click volumes to spot daily patterns.
Total Clicks – Aggregated by Daily Hours
Shows which hours of the day receive the most engagement — useful for timing future campaigns.
Cohort Analytics
URLSH cohorts provide comprehensive analytics on user click behavior, segmented by browser type, operating system, and other key parameters. This enables detailed tracking and analysis of user engagement patterns across different platforms.
Highest / Lowest Performing Regions by Total Clicks
Shows the top 5 and bottom 5 performing regions by total clicks in the selected date range.
Total Clicks – OS Wise Performance (donut chart)
Shows the total clicks segregated by operating system. For example, Android, iOS, Windows, etc.
Total Clicks – Device Wise Performance (donut chart)
Shows the total clicks segregated by device. For example, Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, etc.
Total Clicks – Browser Wise Performance (donut chart)
Shows the total clicks segregated by browser. For example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.
Filtering Analytics
You can filter analytics data by:
- Date
- Source
- Channel
The default values for: - Date is Last 7 days - Source is All - Channel is All
