Wisely allows you to send inbound and outbound messages using the RCS channel via mobile operator to end-users. RCS channel supports the following message types.
Text Message
The maximum number of characters is allowed – 2500. Supported formats are TXT, TeXT, US-ASCII-UTF-8, and US-ASCII (not UTF16).
Rich Card Stand-Alone Message
A single, interactive card that combines multimedia elements such as images, videos, and action buttons within a message. Ideal for promotional messages, product showcases, confirmations, or updates that need to grab attention with visuals.
Rich Card contains the following components:
Card title
A maximum of 200 characters are allowed.
Description
A maximum of 2000 characters are allowed.
Image: You can upload directly or using the URL or Variable URL of the image.
Max size - 2MB.
The optimal resolution should be 1440 x 480 px, 1440 x 720 for vertical and 768 x1024 px for horizontal positions.
Allowed formats are JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF.
Aspect Ratio for Vertical position: 3:1 for Short or 2:1 for Medium.
Aspect Ratio for Horizontal position: 3:4 for left and right.
Video: You can upload directly or using the URL or Variable URL of the video.
Max size - 10 MB.
Allowed formats are MP4 or H263.
Video Thumbnail Image: You can upload directly or using the URL or Variable URL of the image.
Max size – 100 KB.

Carousel Card Message
A set of multiple rich cards displayed as a horizontally scrollable carousel, allows users to browse through several cards in one message. Useful for showcasing a series of products, services, or options, such as browsing a product catalogue, choosing from multiple offers, or exploring various content pieces. You can add up to 10 cards in a single Carousel.

The maximum number of characters is allowed – 2500. Supported formats are TXT, TeXT, US-ASCII-UTF-8, and US-ASCII (not UTF16). The attachment file must be in .pdf format and maximum size is 10 MB.
Suggested Actions/Replies
Suggested actions guide users through the conversation by using features already available on their devices. Max of 4 actions is allowed per card.
Reply -- sends a reply back in the chat
URL Action -- opens the URL or attachment in a browser (e.g Google Chrome) and/or view it in a webview with full or half or tall mode in the handset. This URL action also supports UPI links in addition to http or https URLs that help the user to navigate to UPI apps like Google Pay, or PhonePe.
Dialer -- opens dialer with a number
View Location (Lat/Long) -- displays a location in the user's default map app
View Location (Query) -- searches around the user's location given an agent-specified query. For example,
Setting the ‘query’ string to "HDFC Bank" will show all HDFC Bank locations in the user's vicinity.
Setting the ‘query’ string to "1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043" will select that specific address, regardless of the user's location.
Share Location -- lets the user send a location to your agent. This button opens the RCS app's location chooser so the user can pick a location to send back to the agent.
Calendar event -- opens the user's calendar app and begins to create a new event with the specified information.
