To enable SMS messaging in Wisely, you should have the following requirements.
Sender ID
Sender ID is an essential element for the successful delivery of your messages. Different countries have unique regulations with their in-land telecom operators which affect many aspects of using SMS. The sender ID can contain alphanumeric characters and the maximum length can be 15 characters. Rather than just representing a generic number, you can create your sender ID as your company name. See more on Sender IDs.
Template ID
A template ID is a unique number used for assigning a pre-defined template to your message when you register it on the DLT platform. For example, a bank sends OTP to its customers with a pre-defined template with a unique ID. This template can be resent by replacing the OTP content with its multiple customers. See more on Templates.
Note
For Indian customers, you must register your templates with the network operators on the DLT platform before using them.
Entity ID
An entity ID is a unique identification number assigned for each department within the enterprise. An entity ID can contain alphanumeric characters and maximum length is allowed up to 20 characters. See more on Entities.
